Let me clarify things:

• Yes, the downtime is because of this update.
• There is no ETA (We don't know how long this will take)
• You will be able to change your solider's name after the update is released
• Any further off-topic/spamming/insulting/multi-posting/asking about downtime will result in an immediate warning.

When you play Rome, you have to create a solider (also known as a "persona"). Until now, you could not rename this soldier. If you wanted to play with another name, you had to create a new persona and start over. This will now change
